Join us as we honor and celebrate the contributions of several amazing women who impacted Staten Island and, in many cases, beyond. These women met challenges but persevered and accomplished their goals. We will examine the influential lives of Eva Bechtel, Audre Lorde, Elizabeth Britton, Alice Austen, Mary Jane Irwin O’Donovan Rossa, Catherine “Mac” O’Callaghan, Dorothy Day, and many others.
