In this lecture, artist and public historian Giuseppe Settinieri will discuss the animals that Frederick Law Olmsted owned while he lived on his Staten Island farm, called “Tosomock Farm,” from 1848 to 1855. Learn about the types of animals that lived on the farm and what they were used for.

In addition, Giuseppe will discuss Olmsted’s pets. Learn their names and listen to stories about them taken from Olmsted’s letters.
