Description: By the 1700’s, homestead graveyards were established by prosperous landowners on their own oversized properties throughout Staten Island. The Androvette, Cruser, Dissosway, Merrell, Micaux, Morgan, Rezeau, Ridgway, and Van Pelt families and numerous others created these types of burial grounds. What happened to them? Do any still exist? Were they built over? What about the enslaved? Discover this history during a fascinating look into the past.

REGISTRATION: To register, text: 917-608-6437.

Please arrive ten minutes before the start of the program.
