The Olmsted Beil House Historic Site is located in Eltingville on the south shore of Staten Island off Hylan Boulevard. The 1.7 acre site and two-story farmhouse are all that remain intact of the 125-acre Staten Island farm dating back to the 17th century. Frederick Law Olmsted and other interesting owners made there homes here.
Since 2006, it has been part of the NYC Parks system, and has been a city landmark since 1967. The site can be visited but the home itself is closed to the public due to its state of disrepair.
