DESCRIPTION
A historic look at Tompkinsville and Saint George as we discuss architecture, the local Historic District, industrial history, religious groups, recreational hot spots, educational establishments, famous residents, the Staten Island Ferry, the Quarantine Station, and more. Did you know that a person was “canonized” to create the community name of Saint George? Hint: he was connected to the Olmsted-Beil House!

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
Ample parking in lot across the street for Flagship and the adjoining businesses. It’s mid-block, down a ramp (easy to miss). No charge, self-park. Short .7 mile walk from ferry, and directly across from Tompkinsville Train Station.
