FOBH Board Member

Christine A. Johnson is a native Staten Islander. Growing up in Mid-Island, where there were acres of woods, cemented all things green as her go-to place. Now retired, Christine spent a varied career that included victim assistance work, hospital social work, finance, YMCA Membership Director, and NYC government as a councilmanic Chief of Staff. She previously served on the board of the Staten Island Arts Council and is currently on the board of the Noble Maritime Collection, Staten Island. As a long-time member of the Unitarian Church of Staten Island, Christine serves on numerous committees there. As a resident of New Brighton, Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Jones Woods, and Goodhue Woods are her neighborhood parks of choice.
