August 26, 2022 – NYC Council Member Joseph Borelli and members and supporters of Friends of Olmsted-Beil House (FOBH) gathered to celebrate the co-naming of a street near Olmsted-Beil House Park as “Frederick Law Olmsted Way.” A sign co-naming the southwest corner of Hylan Blvd. and Woods of Arden Rd. was unveiled by FOBH Board members Felicity Beil and Carlotta DeFillo, both of whom lived with their family in the house, and Tina Kaasmann-Dunn. Afterwards, guests gathered for a reception at Olmsted-Beil House Park, at 4515 Hylan Blvd.
