Trail Walk to Celebrate the Life of Naturalist-Legend Carlton Beil

This free program features a slide show and trail walk to celebrate the life of naturalist-legend Carlton Beil who was a curator at the Staten Island Museum. Mr. Beil went on to curate at the American Museum of Natural History. After retirement he taught thousands of individuals at Clay Pit Ponds State Park, Blue Heron Park and at other open spaces.
Refreshments will be provided. Dress according to the weather and wear long pants. This program is geared for adults.
Patricia Salmon will lead the program. She has authored five books on Staten Island and is a retired Curator of History from the Staten Island Museum.
