Olmsted-Beil House Park: A Cultural Treasure in the Rough

Speaker: Joseph Disponzio, Ph.D., Preservation Landscape Architect (retired), New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, and an expert in garden and landscape studies.
Dr. Disponzio will discuss the history of Olmsted-Beil House Park and the historical significance of the site in the life of Frederick Law Olmsted and will share some thoughts on the future preservation challenges and management of the property.
