“It’s My Park” Fall Clean-Ups
Saturday, November 12, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

- Saturday, November 12, 2022 (11am-3pm)
All are welcome–big and small. No expertise needed. No registration is required–show up at any point during the work hours and leave when you want.
Description: Much of the work involves loading a dumpster with natural debris from the grounds of this site, although there will be some raking and weeding of this park, once home to Frederick Law Olmsted. All supplies provided. Dress appropriately for outdoor work. Service credits available for those that may need.
Location: 4515 Hylan Blvd., Eltingville, Staten Island, NY 10312. If driving to site, parking is available on neighboring streets including Hales Ave. & Woods of Arden Road. Walk up the slightly hidden driveway to house.
As always, volunteers are never obligated to put in a full four hours.
If you have not been to Olmsted-Beil House Park in a few months, you will be surprised at the progress that we’ve made with the help of NYC Parks and some amazing local Scouts.
November 12 will likely be our last clean-up until spring, so we hope to see everyone before our volunteer groundskeeping team goes into semi-hibernation.
