Where are these cemeteries? Perhaps they are right under your feet? Join us for a fascinating discussion on the Androvette, Journeay, Micaux, and Morgan 18th-century homestead graveyards. We will also discuss “The Mount Loretto Cemetery,” the Bethel M. E. Church Cemetery, the Presentation Sisters Burial Ground, and the former cemetery of the Huguenot Reformed Church. Discover the secret and long-forgotten burial grounds of Staten Island’s southern shore.

Staten Island Stories at the Historic Kaasmann House

Join Staten Island public historian and FOBH member Patricia M. Salmon outdoors at the historic Kaasmann House, 4475 Hylan Boulevard, Eltingville, Staten Island on four evenings in July for fascinating talks on Staten Island history. Please park on Woods of Arden Avenue.

  • Cost: $10. Exact change will be collected at the time of the program. Cash only.
  • Advance registration is required and can be made by emailing SalmonF@aol.com or by calling or texting 917-608-6437.
  • Talks will last 50-60 minutes and will be followed by a Q&A.
  • Attendance is limited to 18 because of Covid regulations.
