This is an original living history portrayal of landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted. 2022 is the 200th anniversary of his birth and there will be events throughout the country celebrating his legacy. The project is a sequel to Frederick Law Olmsted on Staten Island: His Journey Begins and will expand on his life experiences up to and including his second residency on Staten Island. Performances will include an audience Q&A.

This project, Frederick Law Olmsted on Staten Island: His Journey Continues, is funded by the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency Statewide Community Regrant Program with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature; administered by Staten Island Arts.

There will be two performances (Saturday Oct. 22 & Sunday, Oct. 23 at 1 pm) providing two unique opportunities to enjoy this extraordinary event hosted by Friends of Olmsted-Beil House.

This is a FREE event.

Other free events will be available in the park as part of the annual Open House New York (OHNY).

Be sure to attend and check out the other free events in Conference House Park!
