Frederick Law Olmsted on Staten Island Discovery Map Launch & Holiday Party

 

Join us for the “Frederick Law Olmsted on Staten Island Discovery Map” launch! Giuseppe (Joe) Settinieri will provide a presentation and share information about all the Staten Island locations connected with the life of Frederick law Olmsted. Learn about the places he landscaped, where he lived, the ferries he took and even where he shopped. Joe will also be sharing maps, sketches and some of the historical documents used in the research of this map. After the presentation there will be a Q & A and holiday refreshments.  

FEE: $10 (includes complimentary copy of “Frederick Law Olmsted on Staten Island Discovery Map”, holiday reception, and refreshments. Additional copies of Discovery Map available for $3 (Will adhere to CDC Covid Guidelines.)

HOLIDAY CHARITY DRIVE: If you wish to donate to Project Hospitality, we are grateful to receive all donations including food and/or baby items such as diapers and will deliver to this important outreach charity on Staten Island.

WHERE: Historic Kaasmann House, 4485 Hylan Blvd, Eltingville, NY 10312. Do not park in driveway. Off street parking is available on Hales Avenue or Woods of Arden Avenue. Attendance is limited.
